A motorcyclist was taken to a London hospital following a crash which saw a road shut for several hours. Police and paramedics were called just after 6pm yesterday to the collision involving a car and a motorbike in Hamstreet Road, Ashford. Crews attended the scene where the rider was treated for injuries. He was then taken to a London hospital for further medical attention. The road was closed while emergency service dealt with the incident and reopened at about 9pm. The motorcyclist’s injuries are not described as life-threatening. The ambulance service has also been contacted for comment.
