A well-known Wisbech thief has been jailed after he kept stealing while waiting to appear in court. Ricky Lake, 35, was arrested in Fairbrother Pharmacy, Church Terrace, Wisbech, on May 25 after he was identified as wanted for four thefts. He was charged and bailed but failed to appear at Peterborough Magistrates’ Court on June 12. He was arrested again by plain-clothed neighbourhood officers in Redwing Drive, Wisbech, on July 15 after he was found to have committed further offences since being bailed in May.
