Xiaomi has officially confirmed the global launch of its first foldable phone, the Mix Flip. After an initial release only in China, five markets in Central and Eastern Europe will be the first to receive the device at a competitive price of 1300 euros (1411 dollars). Belgium will be among these five markets.
The global model of Xiaomi Mix Flip is expected to mirror the specifications of the Chinese version. It is likely to feature a 6.86-inch foldable TCL C8+ OLED display with a Full HD+ resolution of 2912 x 1224 pixels, 120Hz refresh rate, LTPO technology and a peak brightness of 3000 nits, as well as PWM brightness control of 2160 Hz. The external display will be a 4.01-inch TCL C8+ OLED screen with a resolution of 1392 x 1208 pixels, 120 Hz refresh rate, maximum brightness of 2500 nits, PWM control of 2160 Hz and Xiaomi’s Dragon Crystal Glass.
Mix Flip is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, LPDDR5x RAM, and UFS 4.0 storage. It is equipped with a 4,780 mAh battery with 67W fast charging and runs on Android 14 with HyperOS 1.0.
For photography, it boasts a 32-megapixel front camera and a rear camera with a 50-megapixel primary camera with OIS and a 50-megapixel OV60A4 telephoto lens with 2x zoom and OIS. Additional features include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, a 3,500mm² 3D VC liquid cooling system, dual speakers, and an advanced battery management system and signal enhancement chips.
