Vivo has launched the Vivo V40 SE 4G in the Czech Republic. It is currently the fifth phone in the V40 series, which includes the Vivo V40 5G, Vivo V40 Lite 5G, Vivo V40 SE 5G, and the upcoming Vivo V40 Pro 5G. As the name suggests, the new phone does not have 5G support. Here are the specifications, features, and price of the device.

Vivo V40 SE 4G measures 163.17 x 75.81 x 7.79 mm and weighs 186 grams. The purple version of the device with a vegan leather back is 7.99 mm thick and weighs 191 grams. The device features a 6.67-inch E4 AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and 1800 nits of peak brightness. For added security, it is equipped with an in-screen fingerprint sensor.
Under the hood, the Vivo V40 SE 4G features a Snapdragon 685 chipset, 8 GB of LPDDR4x RAM, 128 GB / 256 GB of UFS 2.2 storage, a 5000 mAh battery with 80W fast charging, up to 8 GB of virtual RAM and a microSD card slot. The device runs on Android 14 based on FunTouch OS 14.
For selfies, Vivo V40 SE 4G has an 8-megapixel front camera. On the back, there’s a 50-megapixel main camera, a 2-megapixel bokeh camera, and a flicker sensor. The device offers other features such as dual-SIM, 4G VoLTE, 2.4-5 GHz Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, NFC, and a USB-C port. Finally, it offers IP54 water resistance.

Vivo V40 SE 4G has gone on sale in the Czech Republic for 4,999 CZK (~$215). It comes in Crystal Black and Leather Purple colors. There is currently no clarity on whether it will be released in Asian markets.
