An Israeli airstrike which targeted a Beirut-based TV station, has caused significant damage in southern Beirut. Lebanon’s Health Ministry reported one death and five injuries, including a child. The strike hit Al-Mayadeen TV’s office, which is aligned with Hezbollah. Nearby neighborhoods like Ramlet al-Bayda have seen many displaced Lebanese and Syrians seeking shelter. Displacement is widespread, with families struggling in overcrowded shelters or living along Beirut’s Corniche. Over 1.2 million residents have fled their homes since Israel escalated its strikes in late September.
