Ioneer Ltd (ASX:INR) has received its final permit approval from the US Federal Government in relation to its Rhyolite Ridge Lithium-Boron project in Nevada, with construction to kick off in 2025 for a project that is tipped to quadruple the country’s lithium output. The approval – granted by the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) – means that Rhyolite Ridge is the first lithium project approved by the Biden government, as part of a wider government plan to boost critical minerals development.
