A 14-year-old California girl allegedly stole her family’s car and later crashed it into a traffic pole, killing a teenage passenger, according to authorities. Just after midnight on Feb. 20, officers said they spotted a Toyota driving without headlights, KTLA reported. Police said the patrol vehicle’s loudspeakers and told the driver to turn their lights on but the driver instead sped off.
