I made three assumptions about this pub which all proved to be wrong – note to self, don’t judge a book by its cover. First, The Hussar is not a pub. Second, this isn’t Margate, it’s somewhere called Garlinge, and third, it’s time to rethink my skepticism about pubs with parked-up mobility scooters outside.
