New York Judge Arthur Engoron is making clear this week that he has no intention of stepping back from former President Donald Trump’s civil fraud trial, CNN reported. Engoron already found Trump liable in the case and ordered him to pay over $450 million for systematically lying about his businesses’ property valuations to manipulate his tax liability and loan terms. Trump is moving to appeal that decision, and in the meantime, his lawyers have demanded Engoron step back from the case — which he refused to do.
