A MAN was warned he could be jailed for offences including assaulting two women and having a knife. Stephan Chandler appeared in the dock at Reading Magistrates’ Court on Saturday, August 10. The 28-year-old, of Newtown Road, Newbury, admitted assaulting Emma Hann by beating her. He further admitted having a knife in a public place, namely Northbrook Street in Newbury.
