Residents have welcomed the proposed overhaul of a leisure centre – but say while upgrades are needed it will be a shame to see the loss of the “fun bits”. It comes as the next phase of the planning process to demolish and rebuild part of the ageing Tides Leisure Centre, in Deal, has been launched with a series of public engagement sessions.
