A player from West Norfolk Lawn Tennis Club embarked on a 100-mile bike ride to raise money for much-needed improvements at their North Runcton home. Matt Williamson pedalled his way from the club’s base to the home of tennis at Wimbledon – approximately 120 miles – in just a day. Williamson has already raised more than half of his £10,000 target as the club looks to install two new artificial grass courts as well as replacing the 50-year-old clubhouse.
