It seems as though Kobbie Mainoo won’t be the only Manchester United youngster who will make his first start for this country tonight. It’s been widely reported that Gareth Southgate will start Mainoo when England face Belgium this evening, a real chance for the young midfielder to show his credentials alongside Declan Rice. Gary Neville recently thought that the 18-year-old should be starting in the pivot to allow Rice better freedom in an England shirt, and it seems that idea will now be given a chance.
