CLEARWATER, Fla. – Clearwater Police and Clearwater Fire & Rescue responded to an incident at Clearwater Airpark this morning at 8:20 a.m. A plane attempting takeoff veered off the runway, ending up in a grassy area and colliding with a fence. The pilot, an adult male, and a dog were on board the aircraft. Fortunately, no injuries were reported.
