Police have closed part of the A47 between two Norfolk towns after a crash. Emergency services have been called to the single-vehicle collision on the major road at Wendling, between Swaffham and Dereham, which was reported at around 3pm this afternoon. A Norfolk Police spokeswoman said that a car had left the road and no other vehicles were involved. She said the A47 was shut while the vehicle was recovered, and that the ambulance service had also been alerted to the incident.
