By Iulian Ernst in Bucharest Romania’s greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions dropped by 56% in 2022, compared to 1990 – above the 55% overall target set by the European Union for 2030, according to a report compiled by Alpha Bank Romania and quoted by Bursa. The intermediary 2030 reduction target may be increased to 57%, and by 2030 Europe plans to become neutral as regards the GHG emissions.
