Weibo tipster Digital Chat Station has revealed some key details about the Redmi Note 14 Pro’s display and camera.

According to the insider, the mid-range phone will have a micro-curved panel with a 1.5K resolution and a central perforation for the front camera.

He also added that there will be a “large” 50-megapixel primary sensor, but no periscopic telephoto lens. Unlike its predecessor, the phone may come with a centered elliptical camera island. Judging by the comments, it is expected to be Xiaomi Redmi Note 14 Pro. Unfortunately, this is all the information about the phone that he was able to share.

For reference, the Redmi Note 13 Pro features a 6.67-inch flat AMOLED display with a resolution of 2712×1220 and thin bezels. On the back, there is a 16-megapixel selfie camera with a center hole and a set of 200 MP + 8 MP + 2 MP. The main high-resolution camera, like its predecessor, is equipped with OIS, multi-directional PDAF, f/1.7 aperture, and a 1/1.4″ sensor. The phone is powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset and is paired with 8GB or 12GB of RAM. The phone has a 5100 mAh battery and supports 67W fast wired charging.

The Redmi Note 13 Pro+ is Redmi’s first curved screen mobile phone that supports 120W wired charging and comes with a 5000mAh battery. This phone also features the same camera system as the Pro model and has the same display resolution.

The Redmi Note 14 series will reportedly be launched in September and has already appeared in the IMEI database. Six of the nine model numbers include “2409”, indicating a September release, while the remaining three include “2411”, possibly signifying a November release. This could mean that the series will debut in China in September, and will appear in other markets in November.
