As we move to Day 5 of the 2024 SEC Baseball Tournament, the event has been a hoot thus far, and the level of competition only strengthened during Saturday’s Semifinal matchups. By virtue of a win over Kentucky on Friday, South Carolina advanced to the Semifinals, where they’d match up with LSU. Elsewhere, Tennessee defeated Mississippi State on Friday, setting up a rematch with Vanderbilt in the Semifinals on Saturday evening. Earlier in the tournament, the Volunteers fell to the Commodores by nine runs, so they’ll be looking for some revenge against Vanderbilt when the first pitch is thrown….
