Alexander Blessin has been appointed coach of promoted Bundesliga club St Pauli Hamburg, according to German and Belgian news reports. Dailies Hamburger Abendblatt and Het Nieuwsblad said that Blessin has signed a three-year contract at last season’s German second division champions in a move from Belgium’s Royal Union Saint-Gilloise.
