A gym has been given the green light for a £160,000 upgrade at a recently revamped sports centre. The White Oak Leisure Centre in Swanley is set to expand and improve facilities for its members. It is run by Everyone Active, who work in partnership with Sevenoaks District Council. The old centre, which was built in the 1960s, was deemed to be coming to the end of its life and too expensive to run. Instead, a brand new £20m replacement was built next door.
