TAMPA, Fla. \- The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office is conducting a DUI investigation after a man caused a head-on collision while suspected of driving under the influence. On Sunday, March 24, 2024, at 9:25 p.m., deputies responded to a crash near Columbus Drive and Regional Water Lane in Tampa. The crash occurred after Linton Robertson, 73, drove his vehicle the wrong way down the eastbound lanes. He then struck another vehicle head-on, totaling both vehicles.
