The man accused of firing a gun near Rutgers University and injuring two people associated with the university in early April, pleaded guilty to attempted murder and possession of a gun Wednesday, Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone and New Brunswick police Chief Vincent Sabo announced. Christian Farmer, 20, of New Brunswick was accused by prosecutors of firing a gun from a car in the area of Easton Avenue and Hamilton Street on April 5, striking two people in the area.
