The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, has expressed shock at the death of its former chairman, Ibrahim Lamorde. Lamorde died in the early hours of Sunday, May 26, 2024 in Egypt where he went for a medical treatment. EFCC spokesperson, Dele Oyewale, in a statement shortly after the incident on Sunday said the Commission commiserates with the family and prayed for the repose of his soul.
