The five councillors who voted against the dualling of the Newark A46 bypass should hang their heads in shame. They should add sabotage and neglect to their CVs. I was under the impression that councillors are there to represent the people who elected them — obviously the Newark Five think differently. Rather than pursuing their self-indulgent ideological woke agenda maybe they need to reflect on why they are there and who put them there.
