A church wall was destroyed after a car ploughed into it. The vehicle reportedly lost control and collided with a wall outside St John Fisher Catholic Church in Rochester yesterday evening. A photograph of the crash posted on social media shows the destruction after a Mercedes Benz left the road and collided with the brick wall The silver five-door can be seen among a scattering of bricks and lamp post left flattened by the collision at Cannon Close.
