After months of combat, Russia’s army says it has seized the deserted town of Marinka in the eastern Ukrainian region of Donetsk, which Kiev denies. Marinka is now fully under Russian control, Russia’s Defence Minister Sergei Shoigu said on Monday during a meeting with President Vladimir Putin in St Petersburg.
