Israel wants to further increase military pressure on the Iran-backed Hezbollah militia in Lebanon in response to their daily attacks on Israel’s northern border, Defence Minister Yoav Galant said on Sunday. “We plan to increase firepower against Hezbollah, which is unable to find replacements for the commanders we are eliminating,” Galant said at Israel’s Northern Command, according to an Israel Defense Forces (IDF) statement.
