Two-time alpine skiing Olympic medallist Ragnhild Mowinckel will retire at the end of this season, the Norwegian said on Monday. “It’s been a ‘one in a lifetime adventure,’ but every good thing must come to an end: 2023-2024 will be my final season as a ski racer,” she said on Instagram. Mowinckel has been competing at the World Cup for 12 years, with four wins to date. At the 2018 Pyeongchang Olympics, she won downhill and giant slalom silver.
