Austria’s Manuel Feller won an alpine skiing World Cup slalom on Sunday in Palisades Tahoe to strengthen his grip on the discipline standings. Germany’s Linus Strasser, second overall, led after the first run and looked on course for victory but slowed considerably late on to finish third. He was only 24th fastest second time around in northern California. Feller set a combined 1 minute 42.08 seconds to edge France’s Noel Clement into second by 0.28 seconds.
