A wreath laying is to mark the anniversary of the liberation of the Auschwitz-Birkenau concentration camp in 1945. Newark and Sherwood District Council will host a wreath laying at the statue of Irena Sendler alongside the Polish Consulate and Newark Town Council on Saturday, January 27.
