U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s (ICE) Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) Houston field office, working alongside ERO Guatemala and the Security Alliance for Fugitive Enforcement (SAFE) Task Force, removed a Guatemalan fugitive wanted for aggravated theft from the United States on June 24th. The fugitive, identified as 30-year-old Jose Estuardo Aguilar, was unlawfully present in the U.S. Border Patrol apprehended Aguilar on the same day he entered the country, likely in an attempt to evade prosecution in Guatemala.
