The Haas Formula One team can leave the Netherlands for the next race in Italy after confirmation on Monday that they have paid former Russian sponsors Uralkali a refund ordered in a court ruling. Haas terminated the contract with Uralkali in March 2022 after the start of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. A Swiss arbitration court ruled in June that Haas had the right to terminate the deal but should refund Uralkali part of its sponsorship money paid upfront.
