Honor has released a new smartphone in China. It’s the Honor X60i, which replaces last year’s Honor X50i. The latest model has a number of improvements over its predecessors, including a new design, bigger battery, and a better display. Read on to find out what the device offers out of the box.
Honor X60i specifications and features
Honor X60i has a 6.7-inch OLED display with FHD+ resolution. It has a built-in fingerprint scanner, a peak brightness of 2,000 nits and a refresh rate of 90 Hz. It has a pill-shaped notch with symmetrical bezels on all sides. It works similarly to Dynamic Island, displaying notifications and more. The device has a square camera module on the back with a sleek design reminiscent of the Huawei Pura series. It is protected against dust and water according to the IP64 standard.
In terms of the front camera, the Honor X60i is equipped with a 50-megapixel primary camera and a 2-megapixel rear camera for macro photography. The front camera has a resolution of 8 megapixels. There is an AI Elimination function that removes any unwanted objects from the pictures.
The Honor X60i is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 6080 processor. It has up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage. There is also virtual RAM for smooth operation. The device is powered by a 5,000 mAh battery with 35W fast charging support.
Honor X60i is available in Coral Purple, Cloud Blue, Moon Shadow White, and Magic Night Black colors. As for the price, it starts at CNY 1,399 for the base 8GB + 256GB version. The 12GB + 256GB and 12GB + 512GB RAM and storage configurations cost CNY 1,599 and CNY 1,799, respectively. The smartphone will be available for purchase on the brand’s official website and on JD.com starting August 2.
