Funeral arrangements are set for Passaic County Sheriff Richard Berdnik, who sources said fatally shot himself in the bathroom of a restaurant in Clifton earlier this week. The five-term sheriff will be laid to rest following a funeral mass that is scheduled for Wednesday, Jan. 31 at 10 a.m. at The Cathedral of St. John the Baptist in Paterson. The cathedral will be open Tuesday from 3 to 8 p.m. for visitation.
