A man in his 40s has been taken to a London hospital with serious injuries after a car hit a tree and landed in a field. Police were called to Vincent Road in Margate following reports of the incident at about 9.45am yesterday. It is believed a grey Volkswagen T-Roc had crashed into a tree and was subsequently found in a nearby field. Emergency services attended and the driver was taken to hospital.
