Vinyl Group (ASX:VNL) – “Australia’s only ASX-listed music company” – has inked a binding HoA to acquire events company Funkified Entertainment Pty Ltd. The deal will go through at $2.5M. Funkified’s website, for its part, advertises corporate events and wedding services as well as the provision of music and DJs for these and other types of events. The company was formed in 2009; founder and CEO Gus Stephenson will now be full time employed by Vinyl Group.
