Just two months after the launch of the Motorola Moto G Stylus (2024), we already have a glimpse of its successor, the Moto G Stylus (2025). Thanks to a leaked press renders, we have a clearer idea of what to expect from this upcoming budget smartphone with a stylus.

The Moto G Stylus (2025), codenamed XT251V, is expected to retain the overall design of its predecessor. However, one notable change is the coating on the back. While the 2024 model had a vegan leather texture, the 2025 version looks to have a glossy finish.

Other key features expected to remain unchanged include a perforated display on the front, a dual camera on the back, and a stylus holder located at the bottom of the device. The specifications of this upcoming device are currently unknown, but we can expect it to have some improvements over its predecessor. The Moto G Stylus 5G (2024) features a 6.7-inch Full HD+ POLED display with a refresh rate of 120 Hz, a peak brightness of 1200 nits and a touch sampling rate of 240 Hz. The built-in stylus is located in a slot at the bottom of the device.

As for the cameras, the phone has a 50-megapixel main camera with optical image stabilization (OIS) and a 13-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera with a 120° viewing angle that also supports macro photography. The front camera has a resolution of 32 megapixels. The rear camera records Full HD video at 60 frames per second and slow motion at 120 frames per second, while the front camera offers a dual-camera mode.

The device is powered by a Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 5G SoC, supports 5G connectivity, and comes with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage, which is expandable up to 2TB via microSD card. It also has dual stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos, a 5000 mAh battery with 30W fast charging and 15W wireless charging, a USB Type-C (USB 2.0) port, a 3.5mm audio jack, an in-screen fingerprint scanner, Bluetooth 5.1, dual-band WiFi, and runs on Android 14.
