The Skills Plus Centre in St Faith’s Street, Maidstone, had a freehold guide price of £100-£110,000 but was bought for £187,000 at a Clive Emson auction. The single-storey property, which also had a courtyard garden at the back and forecourt at the front, is next to the town’s library and adult education centre.
