Police in Berlin have prevented a planned arson attack on the Iranian embassy, authorities said on Thursday. A 42-year-old woman poured petrol from a canister at the gate of the entrance to the Iranian embassy compound in the Berlin district of Steglitz-Zehlendorf at around 6:20 am (0520 GMT) on Thursday, according to police.
