A Nevada man has been indicted by a federal grand jury for allegedly threatening federal officials and state employees in New Jersey, New York, Washington D.C. and Montana, the U.S. Department of Justice announced Thursday. The indictment handed down by a Nevada grand jury on July 16 charged Spencer Christjencody Gear, 32, of Las Vegas with 22 counts of threatening to injure public officials. Gear was arrested on Tuesday and is being held in federal prison after his initial court appearance the same day.
