A new lorry which will help to distribute essential supplies throughout Ukraine will be unveiled in town tomorrow. On Saturday, Swaffham Rotary Club will be on Market Place for its ‘Launch the Lorry’ event, organised by member Scott Stones. Mr Stones, a haulier and veteran of 18 solo trips to the war-torn European nation, has taken numerous items over in a large truck already. However, he needed a smaller lorry in order to distribute more goods once already within Ukraine – and one has now been bought.
