At least two people were killed on Monday when Israeli airstrikes targeted areas in eastern Lebanon, shortly after the pro-Iranian Hezbollah movement shot down an Israeli unmanned drone, Lebanese security sources and Israeli army said. According to Hezbollah, the strike hit an area near the ancient city of Baalbeck, a hotbed for the movement. The city is located more than 100 kilometres from the Israeli border.
