A Suffolk brewery took home the Bronze medal at a national beer competition recently. Mauldons Brewery’s Suffolk Pride came in third place for Best British Bitter at the SIBA Independent Beer Awards, judging for which took place at BeerX in Liverpool on March 14. The Sudbury-based brewers made it through to the national competition after taking home the Eastern region title in October. Mauldons Brewery is part of the Nedging Hall Estate, with the barley used for its beers grown on the family farm just a few miles from its Chilton Industrial Estate base.
