Wolves may well be on red alert, after a defender they approached in 2023 declared that he is ready to make a move to Europe. Currently, Gary O’Neil only has four centre-back options at his disposal. And given the system Wolves play, O’Neil uses three of them per game. Craig Dawson, Max Kilman, Toti Gomes and Santiago Bueno are four good options, but the feeling for a lot of Wolves fans is that one or two more centre-backs need to come in this summer. Yerson Mosquera, who is currently out on loan at Villarreal, is expected to be assessed in pre-season and could well become a first-team option….
