In a twist that nobody saw coming, Liverpool are now on the lookout for a new manager. Indeed, Jurgen Klopp has announced that he will be leaving the Reds at the end of the season, and a new gaffer will need to be installed this summer. Of course, speculation is already rife around who will replace Klopp at Liverpool, and Xabi Alonso has emerged as a prime candidate for the role. The Spaniard is, of course, a Liverpool legend, and his good work over in the Bundesliga certainly isn’t going unnoticed. Interestingly, Alonso would probably be up for taking this job as well.
