It is speculated that OnePlus will announce the OnePlus Ace 5 series of smartphones in China in November this year. Thus, it seems that the OnePlus 13 may debut in October as one of the first smartphones based on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset. Today, reliable resource Digital Chat Station shared a post on Weibo that reveals the main camera, battery size, and charging capabilities of the OnePlus 13.

Key details of OnePlus 13 revealed

According to DCS, the OnePlus 13 will feature a LYT-808 camera sensor with f/1.6 aperture. This is the same 50-megapixel primary camera found on the OnePlus 12. According to a previous leak from the same source, the rear camera will also include a 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens and a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom.

The latest leak indicates that the OnePlus 13 will receive a significant upgrade in terms of battery compared to the OnePlus 12, which features a 5400 mAh battery. According to the leak, the OnePlus 13 will support 100W wired charging and 50W wireless charging, just like the OP12.

In addition, the OnePlus 13 will reportedly feature the O916T haptic motor, the same vibration motor used in the OnePlus 12. According to previous leaks, the OP13 will feature a 6.8-inch 8T LTPO OLED panel that has micro curvature on all four sides. It will have a 2K resolution of 1440 x 3168 pixels, a 120Hz refresh rate, and an ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint sensor. The device will also be IP68/69 dust and water resistant. It is expected to come pre-installed with Android 14 based on ColorOS 15.

There is currently no information on the global launch of the OnePlus 13. There is a possibility that it could debut alongside the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3-powered OnePlus 13R in January in markets outside of China.
