More than 100 fans were packed into the Grimston Cricket Ground on Friday night as Grimston CC Ladies took on Denver CC in the Women’s Softball Hundred League. The atmosphere was electric for a match which saw some of the very best women’s softball cricket – and Grimston’s highest batting total to date. Having won the toss and elected to bowl, Grimston took to the field with a strong line-up. B. Garnett was the standout performer with the ball taking two wickets, while C. Pegg and captain C.
