Liberal Democrats have pledged patients in Bishop’s Stortford and Sawbridgeworth will be able to see a GP within a week. Last year, according to the party, 607,777 appointments in East and North Hertfordshire – 19% – took longer than two weeks to happen and 174,092 – 5.4% – took longer than a month.
