Thousands of people brought the town centre to life for a ‘tremendously successful festival’ over the bank holiday weekend. From Saturday (August 24) until Monday (August 26), the streets of Newark came alive in a festival programme designed to showcase musical talent from the area and provide days of entertainment and joy, with more than 70 musical acts performing across the town.
