It’s official: Ronna McDaniel will not be hired as a contributor for NBC News after all. The widely-reported hire of the outgoing Republican National Committee chair triggered outrage from much of the network’s audience and from its reporters and staff, owing to McDaniel’s propagation of 2020 election conspiracy theories and her attacks on the network’s own reporters.
